Dawoud draws upon decades of experience in composition, improvisation, and orchestral arranging—along with his work on hybrid instruments like the Dautar—to create music that fuses acoustic warmth, electronic texture, and non-Western resonance.

The result is not merely a score, but a sonic identity: one that amplifies your project's mood, deepens its message, and lingers with audiences long after the final scene.

Service 4: Mythic Soundscapes – An Improvised Odyssey

Commission a musical world born from your imagination.
Choose a 45–120 minute private live performance or an exclusive 5–10 minute recording—a sonic journey inspired by a personal story, a dream, or a mythic archetype. Provide a theme, and Dawoud will channel it through the Dautar, electronics, and optional instruments or spoken-word interludes.

What theme lives in your imagination? A pirate colony on the moon? Jazz echoing through the dunes of Arrakis? Rumi smoking a hookah in an alleyway? A phoenix woven from electric wire?
Whatever you can imagine.

The process begins with a conversation. Dawoud interviews you to extract the thematic motifs that matter most, then composes and records a work shaped entirely around your vision. Each commission includes a folio of liner notes and original visual art—a complete artifact of your story, captured in sound and image.

Service 5: Personalized Music Coaching

The internet drowns us in "how-tos.” The world has a surplus of technically flawless clones. But no algorithm can reveal the music waiting inside your heart. It lacks YOU. It needs the voice that only you can bring.

 

Together, we will:
* Unveil your sound's secrets – Map your hidden aptitudes and forge a personal lexicon of techniques and diagnose creative blind spots: give a voice to the hidden recesses of your soul.
* Unlock portals – To the music you don't yet know you make.
* Design exercises – Play this riff underwater in your mind. Invent a chord that sounds like wind blowing through wind chimes in a distant tree.
* Cultivate your signature – Good artists borrow, great artists steal. Develop you vocabulary and learn from any tradition while honoring it.

This is mentorship for those who'd rather sound like music that couldn't exist without you than a conservatory demo reel. 
And yes—it's fun. There's no reason it shouldn't be.

Service 7: The Music Meditation Sessions

​

In the early 2000s, Dawoud developed the Music Meditation Sessions after discovering something hidden within the primordial essence of sound. What emerged was not simply music for meditation, but improvised psychoactive soundscapes—compositions where suggested imagery falls away and the music itself becomes the guide.
Participants sit or lie down, close their eyes, and let the music take them where they need to go. No prescribed visuals. No spoken direction. Only sound.
Over the years of sessions, participants have reported a wide spectrum of experiences:
* Deep relaxation and meditative states
* Recovered lost or repressed memories
* Visions and expanded states of awareness
* Sensations of astral travel or out-of-body experience
These sessions are for those who have explored conventional sound meditation and wish to step further into the territory where the music itself becomes the landscape.
These sessions can evoke powerful experiences. Participants are encouraged to approach with openness and self-compassion. Dawoud creates a safe container; what arises within it is yours to explore.
